Internet Trade Services (ITS)

With the increased demands in trade, we understand the importance of providing you efficient and effective tools to manage your trade business. Which is why we have developed Internet Trade Services, an Internet-based system that allows you to initiate trade transactions and enquire on your facilities in addition to your outstanding documentary credits (DCs) and collections.

With Internet Trade Services, you can apply for and amend DCs, transfer DCs and access an electronic copy of your DC online. You can also arrange bill settlement instructions and enquire on your trade account status all online, from anywhere, at any time.

The tools available through Internet Trade Services include:

  • Account information. This tool allows you to work with applicants/beneficiaries to be used when creating a DC application. It allows you to: view, change, delete, create, save and discard applicant and beneficiary details.
  • Authorisation. Lets you to authorise transactions that exceed the agreed transaction limits of the User who initiated the instruction.
  • Clauses. This allows you to create, view and maintain a variety of clause lists that are used in conjunction with documentary credit applications.
  • Creating a DC Amendment. This enables you to request an amendment to a DC that has been issued by the Bank. If you have sufficient authority to process the transaction, the DC amendment will be sent to the Bank for processing.
Creating a DC Application is now even easier. You can now create a new DC document or amend existing one using pre-defined clauses.
  • DC transfer. This allows the user to apply for the transfer of an export DC.
  • Facilities. Enables you to view the current utilizations and availability on your existing trade facilities.
  • Importing Bill Instructions. Allows you to view the summary of import bills that are awaiting further instruction from you.
  • Searching various information. Settlement Instructions offers a variety of different ways to settle transactions.
  • Templates. Enables you to create a new template. You may save the template for use with future DC applications saving you the effort of having to do it again.
