Even in a low rate environment investors can make their money work harder for them. The current interest rate environment has led to insufficient returns and investors are increasingly looking for enhanced yield.
HSBC Structured Deposit is a term deposit combined with an investment opportunity provided by a currency option. This group of financial products provides investors with two different risk/reward profiles:
Key features and benefits:
When using capital protected instruments such as Binary Deposit your return is not limited to ordinary interest income. In addition to the minimum guaranteed interest, a potential add-on return may also contribute to your investment. Should your investment not perform well, you will not lose your original principal under any conditions.
Alternatively, if you are looking for a much higher interest rate on the deposit compared to standard money market rates you can invest in Dual Currency Deposit, where HSBC may redeem the notional in either the original deposit currency or in an alternative currency at a pre-agreed exchange rate.
Warning: The value of your investment may go down as well as up. This service may be affected by changes in currency exchange rates.
